W Hotel Barcelona

ProtoPixel was used to create and control a LED mapping on the stage of the emblematic W Hotel in the beachfront of Barcelona. The design studio Tigrelab created a 30 meters-long stage, and the ProtoPixel team embedded LEDs that projected diffuse light over the central extrusions of the stage. ProtoPixel allowed Tigrelab to synchronize expressive lighting designs with a video mapping covering the logo in the center of the stage.

Mobile World Congress 2016

The Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) contacted us to create a innovative and participatory experience for their booth at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. Their main goal was to showcase the extraordinary properties of graphene in a mobile ecosystem. With these ideas in mind, the ProtoPixel team ideated and developed The Heart-Grid, an interactive lighting installation inspired in the honeycomb-like structure of the graphene.

Grec Festival 2016

The talented audiovisual creator Joan Rodón used ProtoPixel recreate the virtual wonderland where L’Inframón takes place. The play, based on Jennifer Haley's The Nether, presents a disturbing crime drama and a science fiction thriller that examines the consequences of living out our private dreams. An examination of moral responsibility in virtual worlds, and a stark warning about the future of the Internet.
